Tigers Hockey Club AGM

This is notice that Tigers AGM is to be held this Saturday 23 November 2013 at Alder Park Bowling Club, starting at 4pm.

All positions will declared vacant at this time.  Below is a list of positions that need to be filled to run our club. Please come along and help support and run our club.

The election process is as follows:

  • Each position requires someone to be nominated, and seconded by a financial member of Tigers, and the nominee has to accept the nomination.
  • At the AGM, if only one person is nominated, they will be elected unopposed.
  • If more than one person is nominated, a vote is conducted at the AGM and the person with most votes will be elected.
  • If there are no written nominations for the position, a call will be made for meeting attendees to be nominated and seconded.

Positions

  • President (General running of the club and conducts monthly meetings)
  • Vice President (Fills-in for President when not available)
  • Secretary (Take meeting minutes, deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence)
  • Assistant Secretary (Production / distribution of newsletter, fill-in for Secretary when not available)
  • Junior Secretary (As for Secretary, expect for juniors)
  • Treasurer (Keep records of financial transactions, produce statements for monthly meetings, keep records of [un]financial members)
  • Assistant Treasurer (Fill-in for Treasurer when not available)
  • Senior Delegate (Attend monthly men’s Association meetings, report back to Tigers committee)
  • Ladies Representative (Attend monthly women’s Association meetings, report back to Tigers committee)
  • Women’s Judiciary Member (Attend judiciary hearings when required by women’s Association)
  • Junior Delegate (Attend monthly boy’s Association meetings, report back to Tigers committee)
  • Junior Boys Coordinator (General administration of running the boys teams)
  • Junior Girls Coordinator (General administration of running the girls teams)
  • Senior Gear Steward (Order clothing, distribute / collect shirts)
  • Junior Gear Steward (As above but for juniors)
  • Social Committee (6) (Arrange social events for Tigers, attend monthly meetings)
  • Committee Members (Attend meetings, perform tasks as requested)
