REGIONAL ACADEMIES 2016 ATHLETE NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN

Hunter Academies of Sport are currently seeking athlete nominations for their 2016 programs.

A great way for athletes who fall into the 16 – 18 year old age group in 2016 to continue their development during the summer months, Regional Academies provide vital preparation for athletes headed into the higher echelons of competitive sport. Regional Academies are the underpinning program for Hockey NSW’s Accelerated Athlete Program and provide exposure to technical development opportunities while educating athletes in areas such as sports science and athlete physiology.

Trials will be held on Sunday September 20 at Newcastle International Hockey Centre, starting from 10am (boys trials 10am-1pm; girls trials 1pm-4pm). We are now taking nominations from those interested in trialing – please complete our online form here.
