Hockey World Cup Televised Live on ABC
Women’s & Men’s World Cups Taking place in The Hague, the Netherlands, from 31 May until 15 June each competition, men’s and women’s, features 12 teams.
ABC will show every Australian match from the men’s and women’s World Cups with a strong mix of fully live, on delay and extended highlights throughout the two week tournament. The ABC will broadcast the World Cup on its free-to-air channel ABC 2. With the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos playing on the same days, fans can expect a bumper hockey hit with the ABC showing one of the two matches live and the other either on delay or as either extended highlights. The full ABC schedule is yet to be published but will be made available on the Hockey Australia website as soon as it is.
And there’s more… in an exciting extension of its coverage, ABC will show a live highlights show during evening prime time with expert analysis from a former Australian international star.
